Privacy policy
This policy explains how Pandora Design L.L.C, trading as Pandoratech (“we”), handles personal data on sijilna.com and in the Sijilna service at app.sijilna.com, including its portals, and the rights you have under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, “PDPL”).
1. Our two roles
- Controller for data about you as a visitor, a prospect or the owner and users of a Sijilna business: contact form messages, sign-up details, sign-in and usage records.
- Processor for the data your business records in Sijilna about other people (customers, suppliers, employees, tenants, property owners). Your business is the controller of that data; we process it only on your instructions to provide the Service.
2. What we collect
- Contact form: name, e-mail, phone, company and your message, stored in our customer records to answer you.
- Sign-up: your name, e-mail, phone, company, Client ID, country and emirate, and optionally your TRN; a code is e-mailed to confirm the address.
- Using the Service: your users’ names, e-mail addresses and sign-in records, and standard server logs (IP address, browser, time, page) for security.
- Business data: everything you record: documents, contacts, payroll and employee data, leases, files and photos you upload, and documents you send to your Inbox address.
- Portals: for tenants and owners you invite, their name and the contact details you recorded, used to send one-time sign-in codes.
3. Cookies and tracking
sijilna.com sets no cookies and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. The app uses a session cookie that is needed to keep you signed in, and stores your language and guided-tour progress in your browser.
4. How we use data
- To provide, secure and support the Service you signed up for.
- To answer messages and send service e-mails such as sign-in codes, invoices for your subscription and important notices.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data and do not use your business data for advertising.
5. Reading your documents
Documents you send to the Inbox are read by a model running on our own servers. They are not sent to an outside AI service.

Services you choose to connect process data under their own terms: WhatsApp (Meta) for messages from your own number, your e-invoicing Accredited Service Provider, your own mail server and, when available, your own payment provider account.
7. Transfers outside the UAE
Because the providers above are outside the UAE, personal data is transferred abroad. We use providers with recognised security standards and apply safeguards appropriate under the PDPL.
8. Security
- Each business has its own database; access follows the roles you set and is checked on the server.
- Connections are encrypted (HTTPS); optional two-step sign-in is available to every user.
- Backups are encrypted; access to servers is restricted to our technical team.
9. Retention
We keep business data while your subscription is active. After cancellation you may export it for 90 days; we then delete the business from our live systems, and backup copies expire on their normal rotation. Contact form and sign-up records are kept while we have a relationship with you and as the law requires.
10. Your rights
Under the PDPL you may ask for access to, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, object to processing and ask for a copy in a portable format. Write to [email protected]; we reply within 30 days. If your data is held by a business that uses Sijilna, contact that business first: they control it.
11. Children
Sijilna is a service for businesses and is not directed at children.
