Questions and answers

What is the WPS salary file?

The Wage Protection System requires private-sector employers registered with MOHRE to pay salaries through an approved bank or exchange house. Sijilna writes the salary information file (SIF) that your agent uploads.

Does Sijilna calculate end-of-service gratuity?

Yes. It accrues gratuity each month from the basic salary and service period, following the UAE labour law rules, and shows each employee’s balance.

Which plan includes payroll?

Payroll, payslips, gratuity and the WPS file are part of Premium and of every 14-day trial. The employee portal is an add-on on Premium (AED 49 a month).
