Under the UAE eInvoicing Programme, invoices travel between businesses through Accredited Service Providers (ASPs). Sijilna prepares each invoice in the required format and hands it to the ASP you appoint, then shows you its delivery status.

Your ASP transmits, Sijilna prepares
You appoint an Accredited Service Provider and connect it in Settings. When you confirm an invoice, Sijilna sends its data to your ASP, which validates it and delivers it on the network. The status comes back to the invoice.

Sijilna is not an Accredited Service Provider
Only providers appointed by the Ministry of Finance may validate and transmit e-invoices. Sijilna is accounting software: you appoint your ASP directly, and Sijilna connects to it. Check the Ministry’s programme page for the list of accredited providers and the dates that apply to your business.
When does it apply to you?
The Ministry of Finance phases the programme in by business size, starting with large businesses. Dates have moved before, so always confirm them on the Ministry of Finance eInvoicing page. Sijilna lets you connect early, so the change is not a project when your date comes.
Questions and answers
Is Sijilna an ASP?
No. Sijilna is accounting software. Only Accredited Service Providers appointed under the UAE eInvoicing Programme may validate and transmit e-invoices. You appoint your ASP; Sijilna prepares the invoice data and sends it to them.
Do I still send PDF invoices?
Yes. The e-invoice travels through the ASP network; your customer can still receive the PDF by e-mail or WhatsApp as today.
Which plans include e-invoicing?
Plus (200 e-invoices a month) and Premium (1,000 a month); prepaid packs cover more. Your ASP charges its own fees.
